Phase 2 & 3 -> Almost there!

Here's the deal.
Phase 2 was our referral cards. I have 5000 postcard sized fliers for the store. They all have "referred by" section, so you can hand them to your friends, and still get credit! Grab a handful, hand them out to your buddies, and MAKE SURE YOU MARK EM! If we dont see something scribbled down there or we can't read it, we can't give you your credit.
We will have a contest in Feburary that will award the person who refers the most amount of people here with prizes, in-store credit, and more!
Phase 3 is our Guitar hero controller. We have a wireless one and am waiting for a PS2 -> USB converter, but that should be here on Saturday(later today). You will have to sign that out with Jason or myself and may be required to put down a deposit. Come in and take it for a spin! |

HOLIDAY SCHEDULE!

Alright, here's the thanksgiving schedule!
Wendsday: We will open @ 3 and stay open till Midnight or customer load decides.
Thursday: We will NOT open until after 6PM, or whenever I escape from my thanksgiving plans. Planning to stay open as long as possible, and if there isn't much customer demand, I'm going to go camp out whatever uber-sale there is on the market.
Friday, we will open @ Noon until Midnight.
Saturday will be normal hours.
Sunday will be normal hours.
On Thanksgiving day, you can give me a call @ 920-968-7713, which will transfer you over to my cell. I'll let you know if I'm there or not. If you get my voicemail, that means I'm not there. |

Better late than never!

Well, long time no update. Here's what's happening @ your local PC.
I updated Steam. No longer will you have to fight CAS, and gone are the random 10 minute updates. The only time it will update now is when there's an update, and not every single game they push out.
What does this mean?
I should be able to add 3rd party mods to the system a whole lot easier.
Oh, and deals. We're in the planning stages for some new winter deals. All I have to do now is convince the big man (aka Steve) to go along with them. We may also do a referral contest with our brand spanking new advertising postcards that should be in before Thanksgiving. Other than that, I have one more thing I must talk about.
Myspace. I know that many of you are experiencing the block on myspace on most of the computers. It was a educated call by Jason and I. The problem is that people decide that it's cool to surf the naughty myspace pages right next to the window on College!
I understand that 75% of you are actually good kids who don't look for camwhores on Myspace, but as always, the bad apples spoil the rest of the bunch. Other than that, we're still here, and always working to make things cooler. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to bug Jason when he works Monday - Friday, or myself whenever I randomly pop in the store.

Well, another summer has come and gone, and memories have been made. Now, you kids have to get back to school (and off my lawn! dagnabit).
With that, we're back to our winter hours starting tommorrow.

New Hours and a new deal!

The dog days of summer are upon us, and we're switching some stuff up!
First off, we're bringing back the Rush deal. First half hour, get your first hour for a dollar! But dont be coming in at 11, because that's our second switch. We're now going to open up at noon, considering we dont get many people in at the crack of 11.

Hey! We just heard word from the Bakery that someone decided to harass one of their employees verbally, and we had to play nice guy to let us park there when their closed.
So, In essance. When their closed (after 6PM), it's all go for parking over there, but until then, you park at your own risk of ticketing and towing.
And if we hear about someone being a jerk to them again, We'll be more than happy to show you out our door. They're our neighbors, treat them with respect and they'll be good to us. |

Just a reminder~ when we are telling you that it is closing time, it is closing time. That does not mean start a new map and make us wait around for you.
Before, we would normally let it slide, but we're changing that around now. So, come hither and revel in the new rule.
After close, You are allotted 5 minutes to correctly sign off your computer
If you dont sign off after 5 minutes, we may do it for you. Complain about it and we'll show you the door like we did the last person who whined. If the employee lets you hang out for a little while longer, then that's fine, but realize you're on their good graces. |

Christmas Hours
|
Starting December 26th, we will be open from 11AM until Midnight... ending on Monday, Janurary 3rd at 10PM.. when you go back to school.
On Christmas Eve, we will run what we're starting to call "Flex" days... which means if we're closed, it's because there was nobody here at the store... You can always call to verify existance of someone here... Of course, on Christmas Day, we will not be open. |

Holiday 2005/Moving Schedule

Here's the deal:
Thursday for Thanksgiving, we're going to be closed. We will be open on Friday and Saturday @ 11AM, and then that sunday, we're closed for good at VFM. We will be here, however, working and moving everything from store to store.
Hopefully on Monday we'll open, but more than likely, we're going to open up on Tuesday @ 614 W College Ave... Maps and stuff will be posted at old VFM. |

We're Moving!~ (again)

Alright, time to make it offical...
Extreme's moving again AT THE END OF NOVEMBER!... We will be located at 614 West College Avenue. Here's the plan.
We'll be open for business until close on Saturday, November 26th @ Midnight, like always. On Sunday and Monday, we will be moving everything, phone, T1's, counters, etc, over to the new store, and will hopefully be open either Monday or Tuesday, provided SBC gets everything moved.
At the old VFM, we will have big ol' banners saying that we moved, and maps, directions, and such.
Why? You just moved didn't you?
Well, with the mall being completely up-in-arms, and nobody knowing the true future of this place, we found it neccisary to get out of dodge. Personally, I dont want to move any more than you want to, because it means long hours of slave-labor to get everything re-wired, re-electrical, and rebuilt. That and frankly, I like having my back room, it's nice, large, and roomy, and I finally got it the way I want everything sorted. If you guys have any questions that I haven't updated here, feel free to contact either Jason @ the main store line (920-738-9032) or myself @ (920) 968-7713.

The pool table has been approved by the City, and it's open! 50 cents per play, that's half off of the old table, and the new one is so much better.
Come in, and play a game. Relax, bring your buddies in. We're working hard to keep this place a cool hangout for you. If you ever have any suggestions for us, dont be afraid to talk to either Jason or myself. |

and It's going to be set at 50 cents! It's not working at the moment because have to make it (the coin mechanism) work... but come shoot on it if you want to... just be nice to it okay? Steve and I just spent over 30 hours on the road going to get this thing so that you have something to do.
Now you can never say I never did anything for you kids ^.^

Alright, here's a short and sweet status update... this is what's coming to your ExtremePC...
1) Sattalite TV - Dish Network/CSA out of Waupaca/Wautoma is going to be here on Thursday June 23rd to install our Sattalite TV service inside the store.
2) Battlefield 2 - It's out baby! We're going to have it very soon, and should have it by this weekend on the VFM wall.... If you dont know what I mean by VFM wall, it's the side of the store with the non-blue computers on it.. those were VFM's machines.
3) Cell phone repeater... We're in talks with a cell equipment provider to set up a repeater inside our store, because, as you've found out, cell service absolutely doesn't work* inside the new store... but once we get this cell phone repeater installed, it will greatly improve signal quality... so your phone might actually work and ring inside the store now! Trust me, I'm itching for this one too.. |
